Susan Brandt Consulting

slider4Hi I’m Susan Brand, I need to know you, and you need to know me.

We all know someone who has been affected by Trauma and Addiction, either you have a friend or family memeber who has been, you yourself, or you work within industries that support people with healing. It’s an unspoken, and under served wound in the soul of our cities. I’ve always cared more about PEOPLE than I have about money. If you care about your fellow man, and about people, welcome!

You are in the right place.

I’ve been working in the inner city street community for over 30 years, offering trauma focused care.

I do work in the vetrans building, PTSD counselling with war vets. Childhood sexual abuse, violence.

With Calgary Police Service VICE squad. Working with Sex trade workers who want to exit. I’ve served at probably every homeless shelter in the city, and many more in Ottawa.

I work with people to release the trauma that is often at the root cause of the addiction issues that people come to NA and AA for. I’m the only therapist that serves the homeless community in Calgary.

Normally the waiting list for qualified therapy care is a year and a half.

For many of the people I work with, I’m the only consistent person in their life.

I know my stuff. I have my own story and I know about trauma and addiction.

Please take some time to view the site, make a donation, view our services for organizations , or subscribe to the newsletter to keep in touch with our great work.

Thank you,

Susan

If you've ever had a friend or family member suffering from the Trauma of Abuse, or Addiction, you know that it is often incredibly difficult to ask for help. There are hundreds of people who we serve every month who are willing to receive help, do the work, heal, and create change in their life. They don't always have the funds to pay for our services. Your donation can help to support the ongoing work we do.
